As a train guard familiar with the section of line involved, it makes me sad to think such tragedy happened there. My sincerest condolences to all involved.

Thinking of everyone who was involved in this accident.
To the train driver, conductor and passenger who lost their lives and to the families left behind. I hope you will find peace in the coming weeks and months.
Thinking of our amazing emergency services. Where would we be without these hero’s. They run into danger whilst we run from it.

I can’t express my sorrow about what happened, there just aren’t the words. My thoughts are with those lost, those injured and traumatised, and all the families and loved ones affected. I hope in time, smiles will come through happier memories. May those who died rest in peace, x
