Our sympathy goes out to the families and friends of the three men who died in this tragic accident. Donald was a neighbour of ours fo many years, we will miss his cheery face and friendly banter, he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

12th August 20.20 a day that I won’t forget lost part of my railway family. Donald I knew very well always happy & good crack. Brett I knew as a fellow driver to say hello to. RIP Thinking of you & your family’s & the railway family in Aberdeen .

Brett was such a kind and gentle man. He always took time to speak to my little boy about trains and engines and would sound the horn when he drove by our house, as he knew that Ben would be watching from the window. He will be sorely missed by so many. Love to all the family. MS and family
