My sincere condolences to all three families who lost that fateful day. Such sad scenes. I used to work on the railway but am now in the buses, so accept my thoughts from a fellow transport worker.

My condolences to all 3 families affected by this awful incident. I was on duty at Glasgow QST when I heard the news about the derailment and devastated later to hear of my 2 colleagues and our passenger losing their lives. RIP

On many journeys, I had the pleasure to meet a cheery smiley character who managed passengers, tickets and the train journey a calm and efficient process. I now know that person was Donald Dinnie and he will be greatly missed. Also although you rarely meet train drivers, I suspect that Brett McCullough often drove the train from Aberdeen so also thank him for getting us all over Scotland also so calmly and efficiently. I don’t knowingly know passenger Christopher Stuchbury but I suspect that he was one of the most pleasant and polite passengers that you meet silently and without drama on Scottish trains. All three made Scottish train journeys the pleasant experience they are. It is almost unthinkable that we have lost three great gentlemen in most tragic circumstances and send sincere condolences to each family and their friends.
